In addition to working in the prenatal clinic and in our labour and delivery unit, our midwives offer additional services to our patients.

The High River Hospital is happy to provide low-risk patients with the opportunity to labour and give birth in water.

We are thrilled to announce that the newly renovated and reinvented maternity units in the High River Hospital are now OPEN!  This complete renovation, which was entirely community funded, includes:

• Brand-new large delivery rooms designed to create a supportive and accommodating environment
• Specialized labour and delivery tubs in each of the rooms for water labour and birth
• Updated equipment to better monitor mother and baby before, during, and after delivery
• Space for partners or a support person to stay overnight

High River Maternity provides care for moms in the Foothills area – from Calgary to Claresholm including High River, Okotoks, Nanton, and all the surrounding rural areas.
